I really like how Frank Boreham writes and the way he sees life through the Word of God.
Boreham is a master at delivering spiritual truth through simple everyday examples. Even though he is from another generation he is still timely in his thinking.
Boreham repeatedly and consistently applies his inductive prowess to scenes of ordinary life and extrapolates lessons of consistent brilliance. They aren't all life changers, but they are all written with a strength of style rarely found.
I pray his work finds an audience among the living beyond Ravi Zacharias.
This book was great! I didn't quite know what to expect since I've never read F.W. Boreham before, but I enjoyed his writing and appreciated his perspective. This is a group of essays or articles that each have well developed points that sometimes come along slowly but always left me fully engaged.
I came to reading Boreham through the suggestion of Ravi Zacharias. It has been a delightful discovery. I have taken to reading one of his anecdotes each morning and have found them to be refreshingly pertinent and helpful.
I don't usually like essays, but when I heard this author is a favorite of Billy Graham and Ravi Zacharias, I had to check him out. I can't believe how good these essays are. I found myself smiling at the end of each one and anxious to read the next. I wish our radios and televisions could be filled with such gentle eloquent banter. Heartily recommend.
I read that Ravi Zacharias said he tried to read something by F. W. Boreham every day so I thought I would give it a go. What a blessing it has been to read not only this book but everything I've been able to get my hands on by pastor Boreham. He has a way of finding God in everyday life in ways and places we aren't likely to look.
